Cookie Policy
This page describes categories of cookies and similar storage Parinay may use today. A full consent preference center for ads and analytics is tracked separately; until then we keep non-essential use minimal and document what exists.
Strictly necessary
Session and security cookies set by Parinay let you sign in, stay signed in according to policy, and load protected account pages. These are required for the product to function and are not used for advertising.
Preferences (first-party)
Some UI preferences (for example notification channel defaults before they sync to your profile) may live in localStorage on your device. You can clear them anytime via browser settings. Marketing toggles that persist to your account are described in the notification preferences screen and export with Download my data.
Analytics (optional, limited)
Basic performance diagnostics may be used only when enabled for product reliability. Parinay does not currently ship third-party marketing pixels in this standalone build, and diagnostics remain first-party and optional. Sponsored placements may use first-party contextual or consent-based personalization controls. Any third-party ad stack or non-essential tracking must stay behind granular controls before activation.
Sponsored placements and ad choices
Parinay may show clearly disclosed sponsored placements on the home page, discovery pages, or dashboard. By default these are chosen using page context only. If a signed-in member enables personalized sponsored placements from Cookie and storage settings, Parinay may use limited in-product signals such as city, profession, and current search filters to make those sponsored placements more relevant. Third-party ad cookies remain off unless a future ads stack is separately approved and disclosed.
